Bún chả editionOr, "why is there not already an active general" editionWhere my Việt Nam chads at?
>>2651281Wait until a large amount of jeets move there and see how everything changes
>>2651291Anon, i hope that the Vietnamese remain based and save themselves from the jeet cancer
>>2651291what's cumbersome about it? evisa is available to jeets
>>2651353>what's cumbersome about it? evisa is available to jeets1. If a poojeet wants to open a company in Vietnam, he has to partner up with a Vietnamese person who owns 51% of the company.2. Preference is given to a local over a foreigner, unless the foreigner is highly skilled. This is by design by the gov. Therefore you don't see 100,000 poojeets coming over for IT work. 3. There is no visa on arrival. A person must apply the visa, get approval before coming. If they want to do a visa run, they must LEAVE the country, re-apply to get the visa, then return. Luckily for Vietnam, its relatively poor which deters economic migrants like poojeets.
>>26513571 and 2 have nothing to do with visa rules and these rules are the same everywhere3 is wrong, I've done visa runs by applying for a new evisa while being in the countrythis is quite irrelevant now since you can stay 90 days on evisa
i saved up 20 thousand to blow on my vacations. should i go to dubai or paris?
>>2650320I'd spend it either on a ski resort or on renting a supercar

Literally wtf is wrong with Dubai?

Hey. Could someone help me? I was on vacation in Poland and this company cheated me. They stole $600 from me. Could you leave a negative review on Google Maps? The company's name is WheeGo. I see in previous comments that many people have the same problem and this company buys positive reviews. Two months ago, they had a rating of 3.5, and now it's 4.0. The real comments are negative.
Do you let others or things annoy you when travelling?Or do you just ignore it.If not, post examples1. Americans asking questions in a museum (it will be a moronically stupid child level question of ignorance).2. French/Dutch accent is heard nearby3. Queue skipping
>>2651255>t. entitled pos that thinks everyone around him needs to stop what theyre doing to let him take endless tedious pictures of landmarks that have been photographed millions of times already, and that they'll never look at again

>>2645682This is literally every friend after a few weeks of travelling together lol.
Old people blocking the aisles of planes/ buses/ trains. When you're boarding, they'll hold 50 people up while they faff about deciding which seat is theirs, or which of the zillion identical seats will be the best to sit on. When you're leaving, they'll block everyone again while they faff around getting all their stuff together and rearranging themselves, instead of just grabbing their shit and disembarking.
>>2651304Please staaap! :(You dumb fast food lady, please stay in America, nobody wants to hear your whining
Let's talk about Eastern Europe travel here.Give me your favorite Eastern European spots/suggestions.
>>2650874Largely depends how small we're talking. 10k+ should be fine but it might be bothersome with time wasted switching buses and such. I used to semi-regularly travel from a big city to a small ~15k town 100km away and it was really easy with a direct bus that went 4-5 times a day. Then the company shat itself during Covid and nobody came to replace them. Now I have to go by car or it'd take twice as long with transfers.Countryside and proper villages, you can forget about it. Like the other Anon said, one bus a day (mostly targeting school kids) or nothing at all. Rural people are married to their cars. You're not getting anywhere without hitchhiking or having four wheels of your own.t. Polish
>>2647453For people that have been to these countries, including Russia: how racist are the people? Like, how likely it is to be treated worse if you have a dark skin tone? How do the locals react if a local girl is with a dark skinned person?
>>2649895Czesky Krumlov in Czech is my favorite small town that I've ever visited in Europe. It has a giant castle overlooking the town. There is a really good bar scene where you can hang with locals. There are a couple kayak rental places in town that will shuttle you on the river and let you float back through the town and pick you up at the brewery on the far side of town. Beer is like 1 euro in every bar. The Airbnbs are cheap and historic. The food is really fucking good. I've heard that České Budějovice is really rad too. I want to go back and do it and Pilsen next time
>>2650700Bratislava is crazy on weekend nights when the weather is nice. The whole fucking city parties outside in old town
>>2651293No one likes darkies here
Going to travel there in July with my parents and brother for my pa's 60th birthday. Any recommendations?
>>2650525>>2650233The fact he didn't mention it was packed with Chinese people would in fact mean he himself is Chinese. Hence his gf having a weak stomach and car sick. Also being bored surrounded mountains? yeah, that's a you problem.
Is Austria expensive?I have a feeling it is and won't bother if so.
>>2650654she is Chinese but I am notalso it's mainly Koreans
>>2650532+1 for driving through the Alps and checking out villages. >>2650690It's definitely more expensive than Slovenia or Czech, but not as bad as Switzerland. You get really spoiled drinking giant beers in Czech for less than 2 euros. It doesn't taste as good when they cost 3 times as much in Austria or 5 times as much in Swiss.
>>2650525She is a catch, people Vomit kn the streets every day, I've yet to see any Vomit in a bit, Bins aren't everywhere and she managed to keep the awareness while being on the verge of throwing up to seek one out, as not to be a disgusting piece of shit like everyone's else. Anakn has a good Chinese nu ren.
Nobody ever talks about these countries. Are they shit, hidden gems, or just kind of unremarkable? A cursory glance makes me think they're good for landscape tourism and perhaps history but have shit public transport and sketchy car hire. Otherwise, unspoiled by mass tourism. What are your experiences with this forgotten corner of the Balkans, anons?
>>2650720Ah thanks for clearing that up. Super relevant to my life, can enjoy traveling to a country because they made a political move
>>2650309Ibiza is expensive now, Amsterdam hates us nowbroke uni students want to go to cheaper places - hence, Croatia Albania Xanthi Poland
>>2650302He's a Russian and he's butthurt that they don't take Ruples in Croatia or Slovenia. You can see why when $1 in the US is 92 Ruples. Their average salary is only half the EU average and 1/3 of what Americans make. When the Russians exchange their cash, they end up spending a months salary just for a family to eat out one night in Dubrovnik.
>>2651285Ah I get it now, who told them? They aren't smart enough to think for themselves, they'd have just kept on going to the same 5 countries until the end of time. Also why the hell has Ibiza gotten expensive?

With work and money, I think November is going to be the best time for me to visit Taiwan. If I fly in to Taipei, what should I do with my two weeks? I studied Mandarin at university many years ago and lived in Mainland China so the language barrier shouldn't be much of a problem (but reading might).I'm up to anything, the big cities and the nature is all appealing to me.
>>2651062I spent 5 months there in 2020 (Covid refugee who didn't want to leave). You could spend your whole time in Taipei and still find and do interesting stuff easily. It's simple enough to hop on a train and head to Tainan or Kaohsiung in that much time. After Taipei, Tainan is the most interesting, then Kaohsiung, then Taichung. East coast is cool, won't be as nice in November though. Taroko is worth it, maybe not after the earthquake though since it destroyed a lot of paths. I also liked Sun Moon Lake quite a bit.
>>2651065Would you recommend spreading my time across multiple places?
>>2651065>East coast is cool, won't be as nice in November thoughhow come? The weather will be chilly?
>>2650802this is quite true. you don't have the benefit that exists on the mainland of the police being tough on anti-foreigner violence. on taiwan, you are largely free game for non-puncturing violence if someone is mad you are getting good pussy and they are not.

Day 1-3 Miami Day 4-7 Disney WorldDay 8 fly to NYC and spend dayDay 9-10 NYCDay 11 fly to Las Vegas in morning, helicopter tour of grand canyonDay 12-15 VegasDay 16 fly to LA spend time exploring cityDay 17-18 LADay 19-21 Anaheim (Disney Land)Day 22 fly home Is this trying to squeeze in too much?
I say if you want to visit both Disney locations let’s do it!
>>2650897Skip miami, disney world, and disney land, and cut down your time in Vegas. Then I’d say you’re looking fairly solid.
>>2650897Most souless itinerary I've ever seen. You are an honorary American.
I've lived on the east and west coast of the US and done all that shit a million times. Here's my take, Miami is overpriced and filled with brown people. Pick another beach. Clearwater, Destin, Palm Beach, all much nicer. Second, don't spend 3 days in Disney World. As an adult, 2 is the max. One day in the magic Kingdom and one day in Epcot. Third, I love Vegas, but it's hell in the summer. You have never experienced anything like the summer heat in Vegas. You literally cannot be outside during the day. If it were me, I would fly into Orange County California and do Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and maybe drive up to LA for one day to see the Santa Monica Pier, The Getty Museum and Griffith Park to take pics of the Hollywood sign. Don't stay in LA and don't plan on spending more than a day there. Also, don't do Philadelphia. It's an absolute crime-ridden shithole. The people who live there are the most unfriendly pieces of human garbage you will ever meet. They have to be to survive in that cesspool.
>>2650978bro shut up, we (the non-tourist trap places) don't *WANT* a bunch of tourists and immigrants, let them stay to the stereotypical places and leave the rest of us alone.
I Live in Morocco and i'm planing to go travel to a city but i don't wanna stay at an hotel, I kind of want to just stay outdoors and sleep somewhere where people will not notice me or even thugs too. I kind of want to experience something new, Like just be away from my city, I cannot afford a cheap hotel but i can travel. My Country is known for having thugs, criminals and robbers at night, But still I kind of want a good advice from someone who had done that or even someone from my country
>>2650663Thanks bro, If i ever did that i'll try to head into a little forest or a place in the city that seems to be dark.>>2650788I don't have money, 10 is too expensive lmaoo>>2650793Yeah i agree but it's pretty much infested with homeless people and thug fags
What city are you from? Just curious. If you do sleep somewhere interesting, please take photos and share them with us
>>2651028>Thanks bro, If i ever did that i'll try to head into a little forest or a place in the city that seems to be darkno problem, I don't know if they have parks there or not, but yeah, nature is your friend, seems safer and more clean than sleeping on concrete somewhereif it takes you a little while to get to your camp spot that's better
>>2650581Just drive out to the desert and pitch a tent.
>>2651028I wish there was a way to book someone a hotel but have them be responsible for it. I would literally book you something so you don't get murdered.
Hi, Texan here who's never been to the Northeast. How long should I budget for a trip to Boston? So far, idea is to1. Fly in on Friday evening and rent a car - sleep in Concord.2. Saturday drive to White Mountain National Forest and hike around - sleep in Augusta. Should I do Green Mountain and drive to Montpelier instead before driving to Augusta?3. Sunday drive along the Maine coast to Bangor and back to Boston - sleep in Boston Sunday night. What's there to see on the Maine coast? I only know about the lobster rolls but IDK if summer is their season4. Monday drive to Cape Cod (again, any specifics to check out?) and take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, bike around since it'll probably be super pleasant. Drive back and return the car on Monday night - again, sleep in Boston Monday night.5. Explore Boston and Cambridge Tuesday and Wednesday all day - again, any specifics I should check out?6. Fly back on Thursday morning.Would appreciate any pointers whether this is even a feasible trip plan because I have zero frame of reference on distances in the Northeast.
>>2651060What's there to do in Wiscasset other than the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens? If I wanted to see flat flowerscapes, I can visit the Dallas arboretum which is probably grander. I want to see mountains and cool small towns
>>2651040I know what you're seeing on Google maps right now but you're seriously underestimating traffic in New England in the summer and fall. I dunno, I've just never heard of someone doing a day trip to Acadia. A long weekend, maybe. 4 nights to a week is more common. If you're a hiking family and want to see Acadia why not just fly right into Bar Harbor or Portland and focus on Maine? New England is small and you're coming from pretty far away, I get it, but people go to Maine for weeks at a time in order to see what the state has to offer. Massachusetts could be a whole other trip with how much there is there.
>>2651109Boston is nonnegotiable because we're visiting my brother up there this July - he's only open over the weekend hence the out of town trip over the weekend followed up by the family exploring Boston in the week
>>2650652You might do better flying into MHT, often cheaper fares and that puts you 20 mins from Concord. And much less busy, short lines at security. There's not much to see in Concord other than the capitol building, that is worth checking out.I would go up to the white mountains on day 2. See the flume gorge, the basin, those are cool, short hikes. Then go up towards Berlin/Gorham and take route 2 into Maine. On the way back stop in Freeport, check out the outlet stores, then on to Boston. I avoid Boston like the plague so I don't know what to do there but there must be something, Fanuiel hall or whatever.
>>2651326Also drive up Mount Washington if you can. It's pretty cool as you go from lush vegetation at the base up past the tree line into alpine climate and see everything in between. Or take the train up, but I would prefer driving it so you can set your own schedule. It's not a hard drive, I've done it in a Ford Taurus.
